Cabinet Office Local Sustainability Fund
South Tyneside TEN are delighted to have been awarded £47268 from Cabinet Office Local Sustainability Fund.
The Local Sustainability Fund, administered by the Big Lottery Fund, is providing up to £20 million of government funding to high-impact VCSE organisations. It is targeting small to medium-sized VCSE organisations with an income of between £100,000 to £1.5 million a year, and which provide vital services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
265 small to medium-sized voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations have been awarded a share of the Local Sustainability Fund.
TEN will be using the funding to recruit two external advisors to provide expertise in organisational development and two local businesses are providing additional support. The key activities will be business growth, diversification into new markets and improving marketing and communication in order to improve long term sustainability of the organisation.
